Dress it up with some nice shiny rivets & bag feet or keep it simple! The choice is yours! This pattern is recommended for the INTERMEDIATE sewer and requires a little more time and patience and assumes you have some bag making experience or are an advanced sewer. Fabric & Hardware suggestions: This bag makes up great in home dec fabric and faux suede and also makes up nicely in quilting weight fabrics, light weight denim & canvas. Finished size: 13" x 8" x 4".
Materials needed:
- 1 yd Exterior Fabric
- 28" Lining Fabric
- 1/2 yd Fusible Interfacing: Mid weight
- 1/2 yd Fusible Fleece. I used Vilene H 640
- Matching Thread. (I use Gutermann Polyester)
- 2-3/4" x 12-1/2" plastic canvas for base. (Trim corners off)
- (2) 7" zippers (match exterior, lining)
- (4) bag feet
- (16) 1/4" rivets (Optional)
- 9" of 1/4" wide elastic for side pockets
- 3/4" magnetic snap
- (5) 1-3/16" oval (or rectangle) rings and no more than 13/16" deep
