  • Additional outside pockets to hold your travel essentials – eyeglasses, snacks, a small umbrella, and reading material, for example
  • Inside, zipped safety pocket to keep small items such as change, meds, keys, or extra eyeglasses easily accessible
  • Finished Size, Zipper Panel Up (as on cover): 17½" H x 16" W x 6" D
  • Finished Size, Zipper Panel Dropped Inside: 14½" H x 16" W x 6" D

Materials Needed:

  • 2 1/2 yds for tote body, zip top panel, and inside pocket
  • 2 1/2 yds of coordinating fabric for lining
  • 3/4 yd contrasting print or solid for bindings for pockets and bottom panel
  • 12" x 24" and 9" x 18" Lightweight interfacing
  • 28" x 52" piece of lightweight batting
  • 1 yd cotton flannel for batting in outside pockets
  • 22" coil zipper
  • (2) 9" coil zippers for pockets
  • 3-1/4" yd of 1" wide webbing for straps
  • 1/4" wide fusible web tape
