The pieced exterior lends itself to a huge variety of looks and can be quilted or not - your choice! Inside you’ll find a magnetic snap, a zippered pocket and 2 rounded slip pockets. Finished size: 18" W x 15"H (26" with handles). This pattern is recommended for experienced beginners.

Materials Needed:

• (5) 1/4 yard cuts Primary Fabric OR 5 fat quarters - for 5 bottom pieces of exterior
• 1/2 yard Fabric OR 2 fat quarters - for exterior handles
• 3/4 yd Contrast Fabric - for contrast strips on exterior and binding for handle opening
• 1 yd Lining Fabric: 1 yard
• 11" x 19" Fabric OR 1 fat Quarter - Pocket
• 4 1/2 yds 20" wide single-sided fusible Medium-weight Interfacing SF101 - for stabilizing exterior quilt -weight cottons
• 1 yd Medium-weight Canvas - for interlining
• 14" x 4" piece of Ultra-firm Stabilizer (#70 or #71)or Plastic Canvas (optional) -- to stiffen the bottom of the bag.
• 9” Zipper
