The Felbrigg Bag PDF Pattern by Charlie's Aunt includes sewing instructions and pattern pieces for creating a bag inspired by the sleek, sophisticated styles of the 1930s! This bag is ideally sized and made with flat construction, pleat detailing and an asymmetrical flap, with an interior patch pocket. Named after the North Norfolk Village which is home to the historic National Trust property Felbrigg Hall, this bag can be made all in one fabric or pieced from two or three contrasting fabrics. You can make a strap or attach a ready-made strap to the loops using D-rings and rivets. Finished size: 8" H x 13" W, with 38" strap length, including tabs.

Materials Needed:

  • 3/4 yd exterior fabric
  • 1/3 yd lining fabric
  • 1/2 yd sew-in craft interfacing
  • 1/2 yd fusible interfacing
  • 5" x 4" Piece of fusible web
  • magnetic snap
