Isabella Tote PDF Pattern by Betz White

The Isabella Tote PDF Pattern by Betz White can be made with new fabric or by repurposing a vintage pillowcase and has instructions for 2 different sized bags.  This is an easy to make handbag and the finished size is 14" W x 11" H x 5" D for the tote and 11" W x 9" H x 3" D for the smaller version.

Materials Needed:

• TOTE BAG: 1 yd of 45" wide fabric (or 3/4 yd main fabric plus 1/4 yd of contrast fabric for top band as shown)
• 2 yds of 20" wide fusible woven interfacing (needed only for light weight fabric)
• 5" x 14 1/2" piece of Timtex or a similar extra heavy stabilizer (optional)
• MINI TOTE BAG:  2/3 yd of 45" wide fabric
• 1 1/2 yd of 20" wide fusible woven interfacing (needed only for lighter fabrics)
• 3" x 11" piece of Timtex or similar extra heavy stabilizer (optional)
