Kangaroo Tote PDF Pattern by The Creative Thimble

The Kangaroo Tote PDF Pattern by Laura Martell of The Creative Thimble includes sewing instructions for creating a tote that folds into its own pouch for easy carrying! Very easy to sew, this tote can be a backpack, shopping bag, or a drawstring tote. It has an inside pocket that closes with Velcro.  You can clip your folded tote onto your purse and you will be ready when you need an extra “pouch” to carry all your purchases or groceries, just unfold and go.Finished size: 16" x 16".

Materials needed:  Use fabrics that you can't tell the front from the back.  This bag is not lined.

• View A - Shopping Bag 7/8 yd fabric or 5/8 yd. for the bag and 3/8 yd for contrasting pockets and handles.
• View B - Backpack or Drawstring Bag 1 yd fabric or 5/8 yd for the bag and 1/2 yd for contrasting pockets and handles.
• 2" strip or 3/4" Velcro
• 1" wide Bias Tape Maker
• Optional: 6" of 3/8" wide ribbon for pocket tab
