The Boo! Halloween Treat Bag PDF Pattern by Jo-Lydia's Attic includes swing instructions for creating the perfect Halloween bag to make for your children! Send your trick-or-treater out in style! Everyone will want one to bring home their Halloween sweet treats. Make just one pumpkin block and use the stitch-and-flip method to attach it and the framing strips and borders to the bag front. If you wish, you can assemble the block as directed for the tote, but then finish it as a small quilted hanging for your front door. Finished size: 16"H x 16"W x 2"D with double handles.

Materials Needed:

  • 2” x 26” strip of Dark Orange print
  • 2” x 26” strip of Medium Orange print
  • 2” x 34” strip of Light Orange print
  • 1/6 yd black solid or tone-on-tone print for the block framing strips
  • 3/8 yd or a 20” square of medium- to heavy weight felt for the tote body (black or orange or other coordinating color of your choice)
  • 2/3 yd multi-color Halloween vertical stripe or print
  • 1/8 yd coordinating print for a bound-edge finish on the tote hem at the upper edge
  • (2) 2-1/2” x 20” strips of medium-weight fusible interfacing for the straps
  • Appliqués - Black print or poly felt for facial features
  • Green print scraps for leaves
  • Tan or green print scrap for stem
  • Lightweight fusible web for fusible appliqué

The Boo! Halloween Treat Bag PDF Sewing Pattern by Jo-Lydia's Attic has a total of 8 pages, including 2 pages with templates for the leaves and facial features of the pumpkin.
