The lined tote is an easy afternoon project once you’ve gathered your favorite fabrics in three coordinating prints. The stacked heart appliqués add a little pizzazz to the front of the tote. Straps are padded for your carrying comfort. Make the coordinating padded Accessory Bag to house your computer and e-reader cords, and USB sticks. It’s great for a small camera too. Materials needed:

• 24” x 43” rectangle of Soft and Stable stabilizer
• 3/4 yd Red Print for lower panel, straps, appliqués, inside pocket
• 3/4 yd White Print for the stripes and lining
• 1/2 yd Black Print for the stripes, appliqué, inside pocket binding
• Fusible Web for fusible appliqué
• Optional: (4) 3/4”- or 1”-diameter buttons to embellish the straps
