The Sew 'n' Go BeachMat Tote & Pillow PDF Pattern by Jo-Lydia's Attic includes sewing instructions for creating an oversized quilted tote with separating zippers on each side edge to unzip into a beach mat! After your day at the beach, simply refold and zip up to carry in your tote which can additionally hold the included pillow pattern, books, etc. The outside pockets are perfect for sunglasses, lotion, cell phone, etc. Finished size: 16 1/2" H x 24" W unfolding into 24" x 66" beach mat; pillow 14" x 20".

Materials Needed: 

• 2 yds double-faced quilted fabric
• 1/2 yd muslin for pillow form
• 5/8 yd contrasting fabric for bias binding
• (2) 16" separating zippers with narrow plastic teeth (not the sports type with wide teeth)
• 3-1/4 yds webbing for the straps
• Polyester fiberfill for the pillow--enough to stuff the pillow to the desired firmness
