Cute pincushion or small lavender bags made in the shape of handbags - too cute! Make these bags up with your fabric
scraps and then put them in your closet or put them in your drawers to keep things smelling sweet!
They can also be made as pin-cushions or scaled up to make door stops. Bag size is 10cm x 7cm x 3cm (2" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/4").
Materials Needed:
- Scraps of fabric for the -
body of the bag - 2 pieces, 11cm x 15cm (4 ¼" x 6")
- Strap - 21cm x 5cm (8 ¼" x 2")
- Flap - 8cm x 8cm (3 1/8" x 3 1/8")
- A small button or bead
- 20cm (8") narrow braid, ric-rac or bias binding
- A small handful of fleecy stuffing
(e.g. Hobbyfill, wool fleece or cotton wool)
- 50-100g (1-4 oz) lavender flowers
- 2.5cm x 9.5cm (1" x 3.75") template plastic
- Quilt basting spray or fusible web
