This functional, stylish hat pattern includes three head sizes (to fit from baby to pre-teen), four brim widths, three brim finishes and countless timps and techniques to improve your hat-making skills. The hats can be styled to suit boys or girls, and can be made in all sorts of summer and winter-weight fabrics. THAT'S A LOT OF HATS!!
Finished sizes: SMALL 19" to 20", MEDIUM 20 1/2" to 21 1/2"; LARGE 21 1/2" to 22 1/2".
Materials Needed (depends on size and brim width):
- 16" - 26" fabric
- 10" - 20" light fabric for lining
- 24" - 39" fusible woven interfacing
OPTIONAL:
- 20" - 24" of 1" wide Petersham ribbon
- 3/4" wide bias tape
- Embellishments/decorations of your choice
