The Sew 'N' Go Hip Bag is in a PDF, downloadable format! This bag is on an adjustable belt that is safe for travel or shopping with just enough room for necessities, such as eyeglasses, ID, and money. There is a pleated front, a zipper closure, and this bag can also be used as a shoulder sling.
Materials Needed: (Based on 44"/45" wide fabrics)
- 5/8 yd fabric for bag exterior
- 1/2 yd fabric for lining
- 1 fat quarter (18" x 22" rectangle) for contrast binding
- 5/8 yd medium-weight fusible woven, knit, or weft-insertion interfacing
- 14" or 16" long zipper
- (4) 1/2" or 5/8" diameter buttons
- Pattern tracing cloth or paper
- Note: Pre-quilted fabric is not recommended because of additional bulk
