your casserole carrier today! This epattern is a great way to carry your casserole or dessert to potlucks, dinners, and other get
togethers! This unique casserole carry pattern has a wooden spoon as a handle and can hold a
9" x 13" dish or an 8" or 9" square dish by using different hook and loop tape configurations. There are bonus instructions for a
matching potholder and a pattern piece is included for the pocket on this holder. Finished size when folded is 12"W x 12"L x 3"H OR
12"W x 15 1/2"L x 3"H (depending on size of dish). Finished potholder size is 8" x 8 1/2".
Materials Needed:
- CASSEROLE CARRY-ALL: 2/3 yard of 45" wide fabric for outside of carrier
- 2/3 yard of 45" wide fabric for carrier lining
- 2/3 yard of 45" wide insulated batting such as InsulBright by the Warm Company
- 6 yards of 1/2" extra wide double fold bias tape
- 12" of hook and loop tape
- 2 heavy wood spoons with 1" to 12" long handles with at lease 1/2" diameter handles
- POTHOLDER: 9" square of coordinating fabric for pocket side of potholder
- 1/4 yard of 45" wide cotton fabric for back of potholder and pocket
- 1 and 1/2 yards of 1/2" extra wide double fold bias tape
- 1/4 yard of 45" wide insulated batting such as InsulBright by the Warm Company
- 9" x 9" piece of lightweight fleece such as Bosal
