Sally's Bag Pattern by Creative-Cloth is a fun to make bag that has decorative bias tape around the edge of the flap and piping detail around the edges of the triangles and front body sections for a unique style! Instructions
are also give for button embellishments on the front of the bag and the straps can be adjusted for either shoulder wear or cross-body, hands free comfort. There is an inside pocket for organization and this bag is
perfect for everyday or an evening out by omitting the strap and adding your own embellishments! The skill level is intermediate and the finished size is 14"W x 9"H.
Materials Needed:
- Using Mix'n'Match Fabrics (42" wide)
- #1 - fat quarter for body front left, body back, triangles
- #2 - 11" x 11" for body front right
- #3 - 1/3 yd for flap front, flap back, straps
- #4 - 1/3 yd for body lining, pocket
- Using One Fabric (42" wide)
- #1 - 1 yard for body front left, body front right, body back,
flap front, flap back, straps, triangles
- #2 - 1/3 yd for body lining, pocket
- Interfacing:
- 1/3 yd Pellon Thermolam fusible fleece
- 1-3/4 yd Pellon Craft-Fuse fusible interfacing
- Notions:
- two 1" D-Rings
- one 3/4" Magnetic Snap
- three 3/4" self-cover buttons
