Abby's Alley by Chris W Designs is a quick and easy project that can be made in only a couple of hours - make one for yourself or make them to sell at craft fairs or online! This
bag pattern has 4 inside and 4 outside pockets for the ultimate in organization and instructions are given to use rope handles or dress your handbag up with leather
(or pleather) handles for a more stylish look! Finished size is approximately 45.7cm W X 31.8cm H X 13.5cm D (18” W X 12 1/2” H X 5 ¼” D).
Materials Needed:
- Main fabric: 91cm (1 yd) of 112cm (44”) wide fabric (Perhaps allow an extra 14cm (1/8th yd) for unstable cutting)
- Lining fabric: 91cm (1 yd) of 112cm (44”) wide fabric (Perhaps allow an extra 14cm (1/8th yd) for unstable cutting)
- Fusible woven interfacing: Pellon Shape-Flex SF101, 390cm (4 1/3 yards)
- Soft & Stable by Annie: 51cm (20”) (or substitute Bosal In-R-Form Sew In Foam Stabilizer)
- Template Plastic: 1 X piece 35.5cmW X 12cm H (14” W X 4 ¾” H) (or substitute with Peltex)
The Abby's Alley bag pattern hasa total of 13 pages. There are 11 pages of detailed instructions which include 30 step by step color photos and 1 pattern piece.
Details are also given on how to print this pattern and there are also test squares to make sure the bag prints out properly.
