This retro inspired handbag pattern includes a template for an interior patch pocket, of which you can make one or two.

Materials Needed:
- 2/3 yd exterior fabric for bag body, flap back, side panels, and front pocket
- 1/4 yd contrast fabric for flap center panel and strap
- 1/2 yd lining fabric for bag body, exterior pocket lining, and one interior pocket
- 1/2 yd x 36" wide firm sew-in interfacing (and optional batting) for bag body and flap
- 1/2 yd x 36" wide fusible interfacing for flap back, interior pocket and strap
- magnetic snap
- 2" x 12" piece of plastic canvas for base
- 2" diameter button to trim flap
