The Hip Hip Hurray Handbag has a fun and easy to carry shape that hugs the body with either a shoulder strap or an adjustable handle. There is a convenient front flap pocket and the finished size is 12"W x 10 1/2"H.
There is a bonus included on page 26 - 33 that has a condensed version of the instructions and illlustrations that is easy to print and uses very little ink!
Materials Needed: Yardage based on 44/45" wide quilting fabric, which can be either directional or non-directional
- Fabric A - 1/2 yard
- Fabric B - 1/2 yard
- Fusible Interfacing (Pellon 987F) - 1/2 yard (if yardage is less than 44" wide, increase to 1 yard)
- (1) 14" zipper (All purpose polyester)
- (2) - "O" or "D" rings 1" in size
- 1" buckle (If making the optional adjustable handle)
- 1 piece of nylon webbing measuring 52" x 1" (If making adjustable handle)
This PDF downloadable handbag pattern has a total of 41 pages. This includes 10 pages of pattern pieces, and a bonus insert of 9 pages of condensed instructions and illustrations (less printer ink intensive in case you want to print the pattern out!).
