The Hannah Laptop PDF pattern has instructions to make a beautiful yet simple laptop case that is padded and fully lined with
a zipper pocket and closure, handles, and shoulder strap for your laptop, iPad Pro, or netbook!
The pattern for this set of instructions will fit your laptop, iPad Pro or netbook of any size. There are simple directions to help you measure
the device to be covered and make a custom case just the right size. You can use the same directions to make covers for
different devices by modifying the measurements.
You can use this pattern to create a cover with zipped pockets on both sides, or a cover with just the single zipper and no
side pocket - clear instructions give the easy modifications! Laptops, iPad Pros, Netbooks, Notebooks, Oversized Tablet Computers; who can keep up with all the different sizes! With just one pattern,
you can cover these devices perfectly with very simple measurements.
Materials Needed:
- 1/2 yard of fabric. (Consider pattern placement if fabric has a large noticeable motif, you may need more fabric. Consider direction
of print.)
- 1 yard of 44” fabric for lining
- Batting, 2 pieces the size of your pattern (see page 2)
- 2 - 22” zippers (longer is ok) in coordinating color (nylon coil) or 44” of zipper by the foot and two pulls
(If making a netbook case, you may need less.) Zipper should be 1-2” longer than your width cut
- 2 – small tassel on a loop of cord
- 2 yards of 1-1 ½” Grosgrain ribbon or belting material for handles
- 2 purse style claw hooks; 2 round metal rings; narrow ribbon (scrap, about 5”) for shoulder strap.

The Hanna is a PDF pattern with a total of 23 pages. There is 1 page that helps you calculate the pattern size of your case and 22 pages of thorough instructions and photos.
