The Amelia Purse Pattern has instructions for a top from contrasting fabric, pleats (or not - your choice!) for the front, comfortable double handles, and instructions and templates for a decorative front flower! Finished size is 14"W x 10"H x 4 1/2"D.
Materials Needed-
- 1/2 yd main bag fabric
- 1/2 yd fabric for contrast
- ½ yd fabric for lining
- 3/4 - 1 yd Heavyweight fusible interfacing
- 14” zipper
- 1 Pair purse handles. (Fabric and Craft stores usually have a purse supply section)
- OR
- 4 rings to make your own fabric handles
- Optional flowers:
- Fusible web
- Decorative buttons
If you would like to use this pattern to create cases to sell on Etsy or elsewhere, that is permissible. I would greatly appreciate a note of credit for the pattern source (GailaDesigns). Individual pieces sewn by you are wonderful, no mass production is permitted.
