The Totally Awesome Toolbag by Karen West (For the Love of Fabric) was made especially for crafters to take their supplies to quilt shows, crafting classes, and quilting bees, and will hold a medium sized cutting mat. There are pockets for your rulers, rotary cutter, notions, and fabrics. Finished size is 24 inches H x 19 1/2 inches Wide.
Materials Needed: 42 inch to 45 inch wide fabric
- Outer bag - 3/4 yd
- Lining - 3/4 yd
- Reinforced bottom - 1/4 yd
- Outer pocket - 1/3 yd (non-directional fabric)
- Inner pockets - 1/3 yd (non-directional fabric)
- Handles - 1/2 yd OR 4 yds heavy cotton handle webbing
- Interfacing - 4 1/2 yd of Pellon Craft Fuse or other heavy fusible interfacing (22 inches wide)
- Ctoon batting - 1/8 yd or 3 inch x 68 inch scrap (Can be pieced from shorter lengths)
- Zipper - 9 inch (or longer)
