The Sidekick Sling Bag pattern by Betz White (Make New or Make Do patterns) has instructions for an easy to make sling bag and has a unique asymmetrical shape, grommets, and a large front pocket. Make this bag with repurposed fabric or new fabric! Finished size is 12" W x 12" H x 2" D.
Materials Needed:
- 3/4 yard of 45" wide main fabric (light to medium weight such as quilting cottons, twill, canvas, decor fabrics, or linens)
- 3/4 yard of 45" wide lining fabric (lightweight fabrics such as quilting cottons, broadcloth or shirting)
- 1 3/4 yard of 20" wide woven cotton fusible interfacing (Heavier fabrics may not need interfacing)
- 1 3/4 yard of 1" wide cotton webbing
- 2 curtain grommets with 1" diameter hole
- 1 magnetic snap, 3/4" in diameter
